Bio

Mark Mandemaker is an ecommerce entrepreneur and self-development author.

Mandemaker’s interest in spirituality and psychology originated in his twenties as a result of having experienced hardships during that time. He soon realized that if one mixes the psychological schools together one would have a better understanding of the mind. Being an autodidact, possessing no formal education in psychology, (having only studied mass communication in college,) Mandemaker goes to great lengths to reference his theories, using citations from the works of experts in psychology.

His first book Nondualism: Merging psychology, spirituality and philosophy (2018) is a multidisciplinary study where the concept of the Ego Migration is introduced which reveals how the mind alters its range of consciousness. The book links the Ego Migration with the work of Sigmund Freud’s ego defense mechanisms, Carl Jung’s individuation process and Wilhelm Reich’s character armoring.

In 2019, a second updated and expanded edition of Nondualism: Merging psychology, spirituality and philosophy was written.

Mandemaker is currently writing a followup book that will focus more on Carl Jung’s collective unconscious.
